Le Blanc Glacier is an alpine glacier, located in the department of Hautes-Alpes. This is also the largest glacier of the Écrins massif with its five kilometers long His forehead was down 210 meters between 1989 and 1999 , and again 300 meters between 2000 and 2008. With its 5.9 km-long tongue (in 2002), the Glacier Blanc is the longest glacier in the Massif des Écrins and the largest in the southern Alps.
