Tre Kronor Palace in Stockholm, which was destroyed in a violent fire in 1697paint by Govert Dircksz Camphuysen, wildlife artist. It is a great snapshot of the history. The Royal Palace in Stockholm started with a defense tower. Probably it was there as early as the 12th century.
