Night turns to day as meteorite explodes over Bucharest. Meteorite turns night into day over Bucharest, Romania blazing through the sky and briefly lighting up the city Romanian Space Agency (Rosa) claiming it burned up at an altitude of 31-43 miles above the ground. Entire sequence of events have been captured by CCTV cameras.The event, which occurred at approximately 3:05:57 a.m. local time footage below fixed camera shows the light.It most likely burned in the atmosphere and did not cause any damage Romanian Space Agency said.
